Generation Mining (TSX:GENM; OTCQB: GENMF) has shared new updates from its summer exploration program on the Marathon property in northwestern Ontario. The company has reported significant drilling results and initial findings from its AI analysis.

Drilling at the Sally palladium deposit was particularly notable, with a single hole reaching 954 metres and intersecting 48 metres of mineralization at 1.52 g/t palladium equivalent (PdEq). This interval includes a higher-grade segment of 6.0 metres at 3.42 g/t PdEq. The company ways this demonstrates potential for expanding the deposit beyond its current boundaries.

At the Four Dams copper prospect, drilling targeted the down-dip and eastern extension of the area, revealing 74 metres of ultramafic rock with an average grade of 0.22% copper equivalent (CuEq). Within this, there was a 24-metre interval grading 0.30% CuEq and a two-metre section of basal massive sulphides at 0.65% CuEq. The results support the model suggesting the potential for high-grade sulphide deposits at depth, though further drilling is needed to clarify the full extent of the mineralization.

The Biiwobik copper prospect drilling showed several mineralized intervals, including 50 metres at 0.58% CuEq and a higher-grade zone of 10 metres at 1.50% CuEq. A borehole electromagnetic survey conducted earlier identified three strong conductors, with follow-up drilling confirming a 6-metre zone of semi-massive sulphides grading 1.02% CuEq.

Additionally, Generation is using AI technology from ALS Goldspot to analyze over 60 years of historic data. This process has uncovered 46 new exploration targets, including six high-priority and 14 moderate-priority sites. These targets will guide future surface stripping and mapping programs.

“We are very excited to get the first phase of the Goldspot AI process completed on the Marathon property,” said Generation president and CEO Jamie Levy. “The historic site data is now in one place and with the AI tools being used to assess the exploration and structural data. The AI analysis and recent drilling results should lead to some very interesting future exploration potential.”

Field crews are now on-site carrying out surface work over these newly identified targets. The company anticipates further updates as exploration progresses throughout the summer.

The Marathon project is anticipated to produce 2,122,000 oz. of palladium, 517 million lb. of copper, 485,000 oz. of platinum, 158,000 oz. of gold, and 3,156,000 oz. of silver in payable metals over a 13-year mine life.
