Greenland has made headlines in the last six months amid United States President Donald Trump’s heightened interest in the Danish territory. His focus on Greenland has drawn added attention to the island’s vast mineral riches. But Greenland’s infrastructure challenges, harsh climate and stringent government policies mean only a handful of Western companies have managed to advance projects there.
